MAFS 2020: Hayley Vernon and David Cannon rekindle their romance
Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon has revealed the unthinkable happens.
In an interview with Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, Hayley confirmed she rekindled her relationship with her TV hubby, David Cannon, and the couple were intimate with one another on at least one occasion.
“Our relationship gets to a good point in the next week or so (of episodes),” Hayley said on the radio this morning.
“Have you banged him yet?” Kyle asked.
“It does happen,” she revealed.

But the happy times didn’t last long for the couple.
“I have a ripper of a week and then sh*t just goes down like the Titanic,” Hayley said. “It goes south like no tomorrow.”
The fact that Hayley and David manage to get back on good terms is quite frankly shocking.
The two of them had a massive falling out during their honeymoon when Hayley made a flippant remark about David’s $25-an-hour wage.
The morning after the fight, David recorded a video diary entry that was obtained by New Idea and was released earlier this week, and in it he blasted his TV wife.
“I am looking forward to taking the experts to task when I see them,” David said in the expletive-laden video. “Matched me with a drug addict, f***ing smoker that’s f***ing tall. It’s just bizarre that they think that was a person that I would fall in love with.”
He seemingly ruled out any chance of a reconciliation in the video, saying, “She’s a horrendous human being and there’s nothing she could say to me that would change my mind”.
David and Hayley came face-to-face in last night’s first dinner party episode of the season, and things went from bad to worse.
Viewers slammed Hayley’s behaviour during the dinner after she appeared to forcibly grab her husband’s face in an attempt to kiss him while he repeatedly told her to stop.
David was clearly uncomfortable as he recoiled from Hayley’s rather aggressive advances which some viewers described as “harassment”.
“Hayley is basically sexually harassing David right now,” one viewer tweeted.
“If someone says no or that they’re uncomfortable, listen. You don’t get a free pass because you’re a woman!” another wrote.
During her interview with Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Hayley was asked if there was another male MAFS contestant she would have preferred to have been matched with.
“None of them are really my cup of tea, but I’d say out of anyone I’d probably go Chris, Vanessa’s partner,” Hayley said. “Reason being: Family man, really laid back Aussie, I think he’s got a really good moral compass … and he wouldn’t sook about my ciggies.”
