Aston Merrygold Unveils Video For New Single 'Precious'

Aston Merrygold has released the video for his new single ‘Precious’ featuring Shy Carter. In the lead up to both the release of the single and video, Aston has been releasing teasers via his Twitter and Instagram page.

‘Precious’ is Aston’s second single for 2017, after releasing ‘One Night In Paris’ in January. The single is set to be released on April 14.

Both the track and video have an excellent summer vibe! The video was shot in Los Angeles, California and was directed by Damien Sandoval.

Featuring in the video is Shy Carter, an American songwriter who has written songs for successful artists including Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo and Charlie Puth.

The video storyline follows a couple hanging out at various locations around Los Angeles. Compared to other videos that Aston has done in the past, this video is relatively stripped back to a certain extent.

There has been no set release date for Aston’s solo album, however, we can’t wait to hear what Aston has been working on as a solo artist! Prior to launching his solo career, he was in boy band sensation JLS, comprising of other members JB Gill, Oritse Williams and Marvin Humes. The boy band disbanded at the end of 2013, with all members embarking on solo ventures.
